Testo 316-4 leak detector aids in carrying out quick, reliable leakage detection on refrigeration systems or heat pumps.
Long Description:
Leaks on a refrigeration system or heat pump have serious consequences. The system no longer provides the required cooling capacity and, in the worst case scenario, system components can be damaged. Not to mention the environmental damage and the costs incurred by your customer. You need fast, reliable measuring instruments such as the testo 316-4 leak detector in order to be able to detect even the smallest of leaks.
Advantages of the testo 316-4 set 1 leak detector
An all-rounder in leak detection: the testo 316-4 leak detector (set 1) is a fast, reliable leak detector for all common refrigerants
Practical sensor technology: the leak detector's sensor is permanently monitored and displays malfunctions or contaminations on the screen. The use of test leaks is therefore no longer necessary. If dirty, the sensor can be easily cleaned and is then ready for use again straight away. Moreover, thanks to its flexible gooseneck, the sensor can be positioned close to the pipework or the measuring location
High sensitivity: its extremely high sensitivity of ˂3g/a in accordance with EN 14624 enables reliable detection of even the smallest leaks. The drag pointer function indicates maximum leakages, making it easier to locate leaks
Reliable warning functions: if a leak is found, the display changes from green to red. An audible signal also indicates that a leak has been detected. The earphones included in the set also enable the testo 316-4 leak detector to be used in loud environments.
Further options for ammonia: for refrigeration systems that operate with ammonia, you can upgrade the testo 316-4 leak detector (set 1) using the spare head for ammonia (NH3). Or you can purchase the testo 316-4 leak detector (set 2) specifically for ammonia

The testo 552 digital vacuum gauge – areas of application
Evacuating is one of the most important steps when it comes to installing or restarting refrigerant or air conditioning systems: foreign gases, moisture and oils have to be removed properly. That’s when the absolute pressure of a system needs to be measured.
And that’s exactly what the testo 552 digital vacuum gauge is designed to do: the meter provides you with highly accurate information regarding the dehumidification status of the system and is able to measure even the smallest of absolute pressures absolutely reliably. This means that you are always able to observe manufacturer specifications. A visual alarm warns immediately when a threshold has been exceeded.
And because the digital vacuum gauge is IP42 rated (water resistant and dirt proof), it is virtually impervious to moisture and dirt.
Key Points:· Highly accurate and reliable measurement results
· Measurement data monitoring via testo Smart Probes App
· Measurement data dispatch via testo Smart Probes App
· Measurement of the evaporation temperature of H2O
· Optical alarm when a limit value is exceeded
· Extremely robust and water/dirt resistant (IP 42)

Testo 570 digital manifold is ideal for all measurement tasks on refrigeration systems and heat pumps like measuring, analyzing and logging– pressure, temperature, electricity and vacuum measurements.
Long Description:
For refrigeration systems and heat pumps to function smoothly and efficiently, the pressure, temperatures and any system superheating or subcooling need to be monitored. The testo 570-1 refrigeration manifold can record or calculate all these values and also enable temperature-compensated tightness testing. Complex manual comparisons and calculations (e.g. of superheating and subcooling), which would be necessary when using analog manifolds, are not needed.
Due to digital technology, several manual steps and calculations are no longer required
- Record readings over a period of up to 999 hours: the results are safely stored in the instrument, even for long-term measurements on refrigeration systems or heat pumps
- Real-time recording and graphic presentation of measurement data: as an option you can purchase the “EasyKool” software, which can be used to clearly present the measurement data. This is particularly useful for identifying sources of error in the event of a fault, and taking countermeasures if needed
- Protocol access and printout: the testo fast printer(optional), enables on-site printout of measurement data. Measurement protocols can be viewed in the “EasyKool” software (optional)
- Pressure measurement with automatic temperature calculation: high and low pressure is measured via two temperature-compensated pressure sensors, which automatically calculate the temperatures in addition
- Three connections for external temperature probes: connect up to three temperature probes in order to calculate superheating and subcooling in parallel and record the ambient temperature.
- Integrated vacuum measurement: when evacuating refrigeration systems, you can use the 4-way manifold to carry out vacuum measurements. The integrated vacuum sensor enables precise vacuum measurements
Together with the testo 570-1 refrigeration manifold, you also get a clamp temperature probe. This reliably measures the surface temperature. Our probes range also includes attachable probes for measuring temperature, current or oil pressure.
The testo 570-1 refrigeration manifold is suitable for practical use, largely thanks to its robust 4-way valve block with 4 connections, 4 hose parkers and its inspection glass. Maintenance and servicing tasks on refrigeration systems and heat pumps are made easier due to the manageability of the instrument.
With its solid housing, the refrigeration manifold is protected against impacts. A suspension hook on the back secures the instrument during the measurement. In addition, the manifold has a large, illuminated display, so you will have no problem reading off the readings, even in a dark environment.
